669 Rewind
"For a very limited time, 669 will be taking over late Fridays (Sat 1-6am) on WCSB 89.3 FM. The prime-time 669 Show will air in its regular slot (Sat 1-4:00am) and immediately following the live show WCSB will air a recorded show from 669's illustrious history. Some of these recordings have not been heard in over 13 years and should prove to be very interesting. The tapes will be picked completely at random and will cover the entire run of the show. So cancel any futur plans you have on Fridays and Saturdays in order to rest up for this once in a lifetime opportunity. You will not regret it!"

WCSB Masquerade Ball Article
There where many things to do this past Halloween. One was kind of thrown together at the last minute. That was the WCSB Masquerade Ball.
As Cleveland States own radio station, the station was looking to put together a
party in appreciation of the continued support from their listeners.
The station was able to get punk legends the Zero Boys to headline the
event. The ball was a grand spectacle from the moment
you walk through the front of Cleveland Public Theater where the event
was held. Decorated for holiday occasion and
about seventy percent of those in attendance dressed for the occasion
made for a great event in itself. With a great opening line up
of local talent (Mr. California, HomoStupids, Sun God, Fragments) the
night was just the right amount of foreplay before the
climax (Zero Boys). The Zero Boys played a great set, of what I saw.
Unfortunately I had to leave early to go to work, but I got to
listen to the show being simulcast on the radio (89.3) which sounded
great. Overall this event was great almost in every way. The
only bad part was that WCSB did not plan on so many beer thirsty
listeners and they ran ran out of beer toward the end of the
night. No big deal though, since everyone was there to support WCSB and
the great line up. I can not wait until next year.
